BRIEF

Owners of this Classical Garden requested a 3 tiered period Design in keeping with their residence in Glasthule, County Dublin.

DESIGN

A symmetrical and Formal Design was planned for construction. Garden was in need of restoration in parts including granite walls, gates and capping.

A stepped terraced garden was designed around central square which allowed access to Garden's back gate that was needed for daily use. Raised planter beds allowed gardening for client as they were unable to plant at ground level. Raised and capped granite planters gave garden classical and elegant atmosphere in keeping with residence original era.

Patio

Both raised planter Beds and patio were constructed with Natural silver granite as an acknowledgement of local dalkey quarry. The Stone reflects sunlight and is highly durable with low maintenance needed
