'Amazonica Floresta' 

Rainforest Garden or 'Amazonica Floresta' was the concept garden designed and built by Amazon Landscaping and Garden Design in Dublin's Bloominthepark Garden Competition in 2010. The Garden was successfully auctioned on the last day of show being rebuilt for a residential garden in Kildare. The objective of the garden was to draw attention to the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest - The Worlds Garden

Custom redesign of Garden

The Garden features the Green Wall vertical planting panels which represented the canopy of vegetation found in the Amazon Rainforest Basin, Brazil, South America. The water wall featured four water blades combining to represent the estuaries of the Amazon River the lifeblood of the Rainforest. Together with the Living or Bio walls made a miniture representation of the grandest natural landscape

A modern twist on the hanging gardens of Babylon vertical planting or Bio walls have become very popular around Europe in recent years due to the innovations of Patrick Blanc. Amazon Landscaping brought this technology to the Irish public at Bloom in the Park 2010. Since then we have installed and maintained numerous Living walls and Green roofs around the country both North and South.
